Yeah I would say right around a millimeter too large, almost not noticeable, but trying to shove it in at the weird angle it is when fitting it definitely is hard to get the leverage, I will try with a pry bar and if not maybe look at just an aftermarket option.

I actually ordered from Cruiser Parts but the pivot mount seems to be slightly too wide to properly fit the 1FZ mounting spot

Will a 1HZ (27060-17220) alternator fit onto a 1FZFE? I ordered the replacement alt and tried changing it out this weekend while I was doing the water pump and thermostat but no matter how much I tried it would not fit into the pivot bolt mounting area. It's part number is 27060-17220.

Also tried these and worked great for me. Didn’t want to wait the month the dealership was telling me it would take to get the part and they wanted $10 just for one plastic part!

A bit of a late discovery but seems like the connection issues from the bracket could be to do with cruiser year. Was watching some YouTube videos on suspension components and RM Garage ran into the same issue on his ‘93

I’m guessing that would be a starter issue. Had a similar issue where I’d turn the ignition and nothing would happen for 5-10 seconds. Replaced my starter as well as wiring as they had been a bit melted and shoddily fixed
