Mate isn’t that the truth. I had a guy tell me that the double cardan joint was $1500 alone. And another guy told me that a 60x60mm bolt pattern was not available so he needed to custom make it, meaning he’d need to weld up the holes on a larger pattern cardan joint and drill new ones.

hey @Kabanstva it looks like you have unbolted the frame off the winch, not the control box off the frame.

If you look after your gear it will look after you. You have just spent a heap of money on it, go the little bit extra and get a cover for it.

I haven't had a proper look to see if the Uni joints (I was calling them CVs in the OP) are in Phase, I'm assuming it's the stock Toyota shaft but only because I don't know of any reason it would have been changed by the previous owner. message sent cheers.

I bought mine from either sparesbox or the4wdshed website they came with glass lenses patterned for RHD and the correct connectors for the factory loom. You will need the Sahara corner lamps too because the depo headlights are narrower than the twin rectangle lamps.

did the swap today however I just realised I oriented the rubber seals 180° out as I noticed the forward most top corner of the seal is sitting away from the body of the car. guess they're coming out again. not too bad though. took me about an hour maybe to do both sides.
