If anyone has used these, what size, or part number did you use? Thanks, Shawn

    Replacing sparkplugs. Cold? Hot? Goldilocks?

I would say anywhere in the cold to warm range. From a safety standpoint, I wouldn't do any work on a hot engine, unless absolutely necessary. As for the plugs themselves, if you haven't already bought them, check Advanced Auto parts if you have one nearby. I used the online discount code...

Sub and amp with dual batteries....what one?

The starting battery. You won't have any current draw from the amp because it won't be on until after the car is already started. That's how your amp would be running in a single battery setup.

Bilstein 4600 install tips and first thoughts

I thought that was the right part, but 4WP's website tells me they wont fit my vehicle. No application for a 99 LC or LX. I have a '99 LX that had the AHC removed. The car currently has the Strutmaster kit. I'm looking for a suspension upgrade. There is currently about 50k on the current setup.

Bilstein 4600 install tips and first thoughts

The big question is how you got a set of Bilsteins for $280. I haven't been able to find then for less than $400.

    LX470 Stereo Upgrade with Nakamichi

Sorry about the messed up post. I was just trying to avoid posting redundant photos. I just wanted to say my outcome was better using the speaker outputs instead of the preouts on my new Pioneer.

Are OEM rear control arm bushings available for a '99 LX?

I'm looking at refurbishing the rear suspension on my LX. I would like to go oem if possible. I've found d everything on my list LC shocks (the AHC is long gone and has been replaced with the Strutmasters kit), sway bar links and bushings, and control arm bolts are in my Camelback Toyota...

    LX470 Stereo Upgrade with Nakamichi

Did you re-pin your LX connector to the 20-pin (or whatever) LC plug? No. All of the connections are hardwired. I clipped them one at a time, starting with ground, power, ignition, antenna and amp turn-on, then each speaker. I cant comment on other brands, but the Nak mounting brackets were...

    LX470 Stereo Upgrade with Nakamichi

I installed a Pioneer AVH-X4800BS in my '99 LX. It does have a remote turn on wire. This is connected to both the factory Nak amp and power antenna. Been working great for months now. When I turn the head unit on, the amp turns on and the antenna goes up. On a side note, using the Pioneer...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Monday. Replaced AHC control panel with LC console pocket. Friday. 1. Figured out how to engage CDL for the first time. Light would go solid, but nothing would happen. Had to drive in tight figure-8's about 10-12 time before it finally locked in. 2. Tried out the new Altimax Arctic snow...

    Shock absorbers for converted LX470

My computer has already been disconnected. There is a relay and fuse bagged in the glove box. I also just removed the console switch panel and replaced it with the LC pocket.

    Shock absorbers for converted LX470

My conversion was done before I purchased it. I do know the resevoir is still full of fluid. Beyond that, I'm not sure how much of the AHC is still left on the vehicle. Our current weather situation is keeping me from inspecting it further.

    Shock absorbers for converted LX470

I am leaning to the oem LC shocks. While looking at other parts to refurbish the rear suspension, I fount the oem's to be priced a lot less than I expected.
