Tackling my starter was the first job that made me feel like "I'm really in this now" -- it was harder than expected due to access. But I wasn't doing it at home so not finishing wasn't an option! The Denso reman from RockAuto has been solid for me going on 7 years.

Best in my area has been MSRP-$4000 in dealer credits (+ whatever few accessories and TTL). Considering MSRP began at $55,950 and in 2027 is $57,880 I think 1958's are findable around 53-54k before you add packages, accessories, fees, taxes, etc.

I've seen a couple examples where people skip the rails and add attachment points directly to the existing bolts under the caps. Although I like the look of rails, the LC variety (esp rail + cross bar height) are very high profile.
