I shot the pan and then shot the fluid…2 degrees difference. I’ve done this with multiple Lexus vehicles and no issues. To each their own.

In regards to taking the temp, just use a heat gun and shoot the bottom of the pan, it will be within a couple degrees of the fluid.

Not enough suction I bet to get much out. The transmission is really a big pump, let it do the work for you. I can do a full flush on one of these in 20-30 minutes now that I’ve done it a couple times.

Unfortunately all of the online vendors only do the access cab. Under 500 bucks for this ole farm truck is what I’m willing to spend. I’m sure Toyota wants over a grand…?
