At Witt's End with Witt's End

I have to push back here, I don't think you're being fair. As someone who owns and runs two small businesses (one is a dental practice, the other is an e-commerce storefront), I agree that customers can be difficult. That being said, a service provider has a responsibility to communicate with...

    The Monstalined 80's thread

For the folks who have had monstaliner on their trucks for a few years.....hows it holding up? I'm considering doing mine in white, but I'm not sure how well it will clean up. I'm not looking for anything amazing, obviously, but I also don't want it to look like the rinoliner in the bed of my...

    Longer tail gate struts??

This is a mod I didn’t know I needed, but now I can’t live without. I’m 6-5, so I hit my head on everything. Does anyone have a pic of this set up in the fully open position? I couldn’t find one in any of the threads I searched.

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Departure angle: no, none at all. Loss of ground clearance: I may have lost about 1/2 inch. I don't feel confident in my response, however, because I had to fabricate new brackets on the driver's side of the tank. The long range tank is designed to use the "short" portion of the existing...

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Mosley Motors. Excellent quality. You’ll have to modify the fuel pump bracket and the fuel float arm. Nothing crazy, but it took some time.

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

I installed a 37 gal long range fuel tank. My old one was cracked and leaking...I could only get about 16 gal in it. The long range tank uses the hangers for the existing fuel tank straps. Mine were rusted all to hell, so I had to fabricate some new mounts. I'm enjoying the expanded capacity.

Banjo bolt leaking on main fuel line

A commusment professional, as always. I'll be honest, I wasn't even aware the EPC existed. Life just got easier!

Banjo bolt leaking on main fuel line

Do any of you happen to know the part number for this crush washer? My local Toyota dealer is a little....challenged. I've learned to make sure I have the exact part number when I call them. Also, if you have it on hand, I need the pump bracket assembly gasket part number. Are they listed...

Spare fuel bladders in the doors?

Way ahead of you. The stabilization will be handled by a redundant inertial navigation unit. The associated barometric sending unit and magnetometers will likely be housed in a box on the hood. The good news is that we can also use the INU for navigation and providing alignment data to the...

Spare fuel bladders in the doors?

All of the helicopter ejection seats I've personally seen involve some way of separating the blades prior to ejection. The Russians still use this design on the KA-50 family. From talking to pilots, the entire ejection system is often disabled by unit level mechanics. Anecdotal evidence, I...

HELP Brake pedal goes to floor slowly

I'll admit this probably won't help, but I was having the exact same issue you are having. I ordered a master from parts geek, and 4 new calipers. I usually don't advocate throwing parts at the problem, but I needed to get up and running in a hurry. These parts completely fixed my issues...
