    Single speed

I broke my Niner sir9 frame last year. Got it welded up and now it serves as a geared flat bar gravel bike. Replaced it with a custom Marino and I love her. 65HTA, 130mm fork, SS, 420 CS.

    Window "glue"

I’m going to be that guy who brings back an old thread. To be fair this thread had the most info and it helped me but I felt it was left a little open ended. Per this thread I bought the Dorman 38480, I lucked out and they were in stock at my local AutoZone. I also got the 3900psi JB Weld...

    Reliable windshield replacement in Oregon?

I also need a new windshield (failed gasket) and live in Portland. I called up Tony at Land Cruiser NW and he highly recommended Collision Auto Glass out near Beaverton. They quoted me $330 all in unless there is substantial rust repair.

Do you have an example of the square shroud in the more square bezel location? Square peg round hole look going on otherwise. Or better yet a quad setup with round shroud in low beam and square shroud in high beam?

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Yep! Except I did those this past spring. Otherwise I would have for sure. I did check that they were still torqued as I know some have seen issues with them loosening up over time.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Had a stumbling engine late last week. No codes. Finally got a pending code of cylinder 6 misfire. Swapped the coil with cylinder 4 and the code moved to cylinder 4. Ordered 8 Denso coils from Rockauto at like $48/ea. I didn’t know the history of the coils and have a 4K mile road trip coming...

@BenCC any progress update on the ashtray replacement part? My home brew 3D printed part I made last year is failing (PLA didn’t expect it to last long) and I’d rather replace with your stuff if I can.

    Post up what you pedal

Sorry about the broken frame. I have a friend who has an older Carbon Giant road bike he has been dealing with a replacement warranty issue for over a year now - no bikes anywhere. I'd take the 60% off on the SIR, turn around and sell it and put that to a new more agro hardtail if it were me. My...

    Post up what you pedal

Just rebuilt and repainted my Niner SIR9. All bearings cleaned and repacked, fork rebuilt, frame cerakoted. It was white before and now it’s midnight bronze. Cheaper than a new bike this year and hopefully 2022 won’t have COVID tax anymore. Took it out tonight for our weekly Thursday night ride...

Would you be able to design in some vertical angular adjustment? Also, they seem to have a wider throw than the Rigid pods, so the front taper might need to be tweaked, do you foresee any issue with that with your current design? See post specifically on SS3 fogs here - The LED SAE J583 Fog Pod...

Hey @BenCC could you fit one of the Diode Dynamics SS3 in your fog light mount? https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-series-3-sae-dot-yellow-pro-standard-led-pod-pair.html These are supposedly some of the best performing SAE fog lights on the market. Their Max is even better but not in my price...

@harrydunn your center console and shifter bezel have a different texture than mine and others I’ve seen. Did you paint it with bed liner?

Follow up on my previous post about sanding. I wet sanded the cup holder to 1000 starting with 120. I could have spent a few more minutes at 120 as I didn’t completely remove all of the striations between layers but 99% is smooth as glass. Feels better to my hand now. Still has a funny...
