    Morocco

70 series are not available for sale for the general public in Morocco, it's a governmental vehicle only. I've seen only 1 Moroccan troopy and it was an ambulance around Merzouga. You will see many pickups (particularly if you go close to the borders) but they are all military and I've heard...

Some new toys for the Hiace dropped in the mail from Japan 😃 (Will need to remove the 12V plug of the projector for it to fit.) (I was missing the passenger headrest so had to find something, let says it matches with the headliner and they are way more confy than my original x) )

    GMB F and 1.5F 'Made-in-Japan' Water Pump Gone ?

Sounds like the same setup yes. Went with the 16371-61010 pulley. Found it NOS here on the Classifieds section from a vendor based in UAE. But I also saw some aftermarket reproductions or used ones. Being only 1 groove it's a lot less looked after than the 2 or 3 grooves versions. Pump is...

    GMB F and 1.5F 'Made-in-Japan' Water Pump Gone ?

Personally I recently decided for my F.5 to go the route of a 2F fixed fan waterpump.... That was before this news but that confirms the choice. You just need to find the correct 2F pulley for this change (single groove ones can be found NOS in GCC or reproduction for cheap). At least the 2F WP...

    1992 Hiace 4wd Firetruck

Went for a first light offroad near by on a new track created to install a Telecom pylon (on our property). And took the opportunity to have the Hiace empty to get some of the wood cut to make for the pylon... Now the rear ride height is back at a similar level than the front x) On...

    1992 Hiace 4wd Firetruck

Everything is now out! The chassis is by far the heaviest thing of all  Lol I got a new lift for free xD Comparison of before removing everything (and with 1/4 water tank full) and empty: Both picture with OME spring.

    1992 Hiace 4wd Firetruck

Made the motopump work Had to bypass the foam injection system as the hose inside was broken and was leaking badly Used the reel also, that thing has 100m of hose! Tried the suction and the pump had no issue self-priming and empty the air, that's a nice pump. But still it was time for it...

    1992 Hiace 4wd Firetruck

Some news The Hiace passed with flying colors the French Technical Control (mandatory to get the definitive license plate) Found where the firefighter horn was xD Found an analog speed tracker, not sure if I want to keep it for the sake of it or just remove it (but anyway the tap would stay...

Stock 1974 FJ40 for an African roadtrip to Morocco?

On the FJ40 front, it will go tomorrow to the garage for a little general check-up and for replacing the waterpump. I finally decided myself to replace the current one (last changed in 1977) and as my very specific euro-spec setup isn't available, I gathered everything to adapt a 2F fix fan...

    1992 Hiace 4wd Firetruck

I'm not sure what was the exact use of this vehicle in Switzerland. Yes the pump isn't that big, it says 28-40L/min And actually both fittings we can see on top of the pump are input (left one to input from a fire hydrant to fill the tank, right one to suck from a water source). So the only...
