    Anti-theft immobilizer triggered?

I’m having a similar problem….replaced the battery and managed to engage the anti theft system. Now I need to circumvent it. So my first thought: the order in which you engage the battery terminals could be meaningful. I luckily engaged the positive first, then negative and it clearly went...

OME-200K - Old Man Emu 200 Series Suspension Kit for 2008-Current Toyota Land Cruiser

Can the Front Coils be done with no lift? Is there a product that is identical to the rear coils? Meaning, is the one inch lift necessary?

Rear Lock still flashing -> solved ✅

Thank you! This gave me a bout of confident in addressing it. It appeared to just need a dustoff near the actuator and has gone away. Turbulent weather is probably the culprit.

Rear Lock still flashing -> solved ✅

My differential light is flashing as well. I'm happy to just replace the actuator altogether, but is there anything else it could be? It doesn't seem to be driving bad, which tells me it's just the sensor going off because it's getting a read. But I'm curious if I need to look at something...

Am I Nuts for Considering a Cruiser Purchase in Today's Market?

I think it will be back, too. Efficiency will be the issue and it will be stripped down. Still off-road capable but a bit more bare bones. The brand is fine globally and they are very proud of the Aichi plant. the US is just a very competitive SUV market.

Am I Nuts for Considering a Cruiser Purchase in Today's Market?

Sage advice. The only caveat is that rates are very low and that's fueling some of the market mania. I don't rely on the bankers for very long. Though this is a great value purchase in the big scheme of things, I'm no fan of auto debt, so I tend to play 3-card monty with my assets/finances to...

Am I Nuts for Considering a Cruiser Purchase in Today's Market?

Only in the US. The US is a very competitive market for cars. We let almost any and every company in. The ones that suck don't last long. But the chicken little mentality, that suggests the LC isn't a success is incorrect. The LC is a great vehicle internationally. We're just at a...

Am I Nuts for Considering a Cruiser Purchase in Today's Market?

My opinion is a bit contrarian, but i'll chime in just for kicks. The supply/demand fundamentals are fairly predictable here. Toyota has a massive transport cargo ship for delivering LC’s to the US from the AICHI plants. If the plant is producing, there are LC’s. End of story. Aichi production...

    Texas 200 Series owners

I've had my 200 for about a month now. Wife drives it two exits to work. When I say I'm at D/FW Airport, I mean, I'm at DFW airport, LOL. I'm sorta mobile, but am still making minor fixes. Just put on some lovely escape gear seat covers. I'm sorta noncommittal until I know how my work will...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

this x50. I ordered mine direct. Received them yesterday, they are great products. I kick myself for not putting them on my 100 series. They are especially valuable in places where it's hot. Gettinng into hot leather seats in a Texas summer is a beat down. The fabric and design are well...
