Thanks, '07 LC How long did it take you? Did you replace the fuel pump at the same time?

So, I was able to find an old thread "DIY: Fuel Sender Replacement 2004". Unfortunately it wasn't clear if replacing the sending unit did the trick or if there are other problems, so the input from anyone that has actually solved the problem would be much appreciated.

I'm hoping I might be able to get some help here before taking the car to the mechanic. I'm having an issue where my fuel gauge is throwing off wildly varying readings. I can start the car and it shows the car as having only 1/4 tank (after I recently filled up), then as I drive it keeps going...

177k miles on the engine. Its a new head from toyota. Based on this feedback it sounds like I'm getting hosed.

Hoping for some group input here. I need to replace the head on my '07 LC with VVT engine. The shop is quoting $6,600. I know the head and other parts cost $2700 but, doing the math, that's about 20 hours of work. Does it really take this long or am I getting fleeced? Obviously want the job...

I was able to find a helpful thread. Looks like the bulbs are in the switches themselves. Has anyone done this? If you go to pop out the switch, is there a clip that can break?

Do the switches just pop out? in the photos above that show the center console switches, they look like they have clamps I'd be scared to break.
