Chris, Just caught up on this thread. That sucks this has happened but glad it happened while you still own it and that they are going to make it right.
Chris, the 45 looks to be coming along very well. I’m not surprised tho, as you have always held a high standard for your work and each of your projects prove this. I can’t wait to see the progress in person.
This is why I thought the cables going across the top would limit how high you could lift a vehicle. The jeep is clearly already above the posts and there was one more block left to raise it. It seems that it would depend on the vehicle.
I really don’t know as I’m definitely new to using a lift.
yes, he had plenty of room to install whatever lift he wanted. I was wondering what the differences between the 2 are. it seems the ones that have the cables/hydraulic line running across the top will limit how high you can go depending on the vehicle....?
I am 6'4 and I could stand...
and no making fun of my shoddy electrical work. GMSTR was around the corner and I needed to swap out my springs worse than I cared about how the wiring looked! :D
Chris, this is the one I was telling you about. My buddy bought this one off amazon for $3800 and it’s definitely a Chinese brand but it appears to be good quality despite what normally comes from there and we installed it ourselves in about 2-3hrs.
