Julie, I am looking for photo of bikini tops you sell. I looked all over Ih8mud and can only find Bimini top and full soft top (which I already own both from Trollhole). I am looking for how well they fit? Looking to see if they are contoured around roll bar? I have a SOR bikini top now and...
I went to outer banks (South Core Island) in Nov 6/7th 2018. I took ferry over with FJ40 pulling trailer with 2 kayaks. My brother had a pickup truck with RTT. We camped on island/beach with no-one within 2-3 miles. Primitive camping on beach. Mainly men fishing on south end of island...
It is the door edge guard from Spectra Off-road. We had previously used standard door edge guard from auto parts store. This stuff is more robust with a metal interior coverd by textured plastic.
Yes, going back to Mustard yellow again. We are not doing our own body work. I found a good guy in Cullman, AL at Patty's. Rod Shop. We found a low mileage 1 hZ non-turbo. I was happy with power of old 2f, so Im thinking ill be happy with 1 HZ diesel.

I had the hood repaired because it had blown up at some point while being driven and had crease it and bent spine. The spine was removed and straightened. Then it was tacked on ends and seam sealer was used along the spine to reattach like original.
I have the body parts in for various repairs and painting down at Patty's Rod Shop (Cullman, AL). Below is installed driver and passenger side floor panels, installed rear seal, covered over cowl vent and original gas filler hole removed.
We ordered replacement passenger and driver side floor panels (due to rust issues) and a rear seal from Realsteel. Note the passenger side replacement floor panel is flat without the concave interior gas tank space. We plan to put only auxiliary tank under rear of tub and so we removed...
We have been working on the body sandblasting, repair, and painting in parallel with the frame and engine work. Below are pictures of scrapping the insulation off of the driver side prior to sandblasting and trailering the tub to get sand blasted
I was following this thread with interest for the reproduction FJ40 top cover for an H55 transmission. Did anyone ever reproduce one with 3d printer for sale? Otherwise does anyone know where I can purchase one?
