You find placing them low helps you aim? I feel like placing them between bumper and headlight level makes it easier to angle the cutoff to intersect a flat road at the edge of the beam, vs if they're lower it's harder to find that point because the angle is shallower to start with.

I have the City Racer LEDs and can give a relatively long term review. The beam pattern is pretty good, nice and wide with a sharp cutoff and good fill in the foreground. I'd like a bit more long-range projection, but that's a nitpick coming from comparing them to some cars with really good euro...

don't forget you may need a separate trans controller for the 6L80 and similar newish transmissions if you're using a non-LS motor and ECU— this is about $1k

I didn't know that folks have had issues with Joey and wits' end. I always got what I ordered on time, but I won't recommend them going forward.

wits' end and some others also sell Vessel JIS bits, which are great for whatever tool with a bit holder. I keep meaning to paint mine a different color to identify them.
