I just picked up a 94 with 5k less miles for $2200. Will add stronger ARBs and have just done a high roof mod. Will be sub $5k all in with less miles and lots of pm.
And im looking at another local one for $3k. Corona-market makes for shopping around.
dewd.....its not all about horsepower......its about power to weight ratio.
go back to the drawing board and get yourself a sawzall and an old fj55 series. 😎
at 4000lbs - my gen1 1fz is making around 254.4hp effectively and $0 spent on motor.... 😁
In your country- id just grab a carbon...
tough to tell- i started wanting to simply do the roof- and now its morphed into coating the full interior and im gonna thinsulate the roof inside before headlining- lifted seats- rear heater delete. etc. mainly due to waiting delays on shipping and paints.
i also decided to spend...
I deleted the rear heater under the passenger seat. and then threw lizard akin ceramic from 2cnd row footwell all the way forwards up firewall. surprising noise reduction as well which is nice. takes that tin can ness away big time.
I picked up some USC ag47 mud and started muddin on the roof . This stuff is so next level compared to Bondo. I am no bodyman by any means - but compared to bondo i feel like a pro. it sands and shapes super easy and goes on like butter comparitively.
I hit the inside with 2 gallons of Lizard Skin ceramic. stuff works great.
Then started slamming interior back in. P.O. kept the interior super clean- and the cloth seats are in cherry shape😁
Gave the seats a 2” lift kit.
rear heater deleted. raising front seats 2-3 inches for underseat storage with the heater gone and some added legroom diatance to pedal on the drivers side.
Did Lizard Skin ceramic on the entire interior roof. i did this on my old 80 and 40 and both see a real noticeable heat reduction...
the front one could be drilled just like the rear one is and you could have an install point. or just 3m tape it up and you are good to go. I ended up raising my roof 7" so those pics were from removal and reinstall of them albeit higher up.
i cant imagine your insurance wont salvage it if your frame and axle are bent along with damage to all front end panels. an adjuster will look at the gaps on hood, fenders, doors and if most are off -coupled with any frame and axle damage.....its gonna get salvaged vs repaired based on vehicles...
are front frame horns tweeked visibly? im also betting the front axle is bent at the ball end. based upon the damage to the car and that arm-..im betting the frame is tweeked a bit.
with a,lifted rig and bumoer....cars typically get driven down under as the front end lifts slightly to...
