FJ62 RPM's while cruising at 70 mph A440 Auto Trans

As a reference point for you: I'm also running 31" tires on my fj62 and at 70 mph, it turns ~2,300 RPM. As eluded to above, seems like it could be an issue related to your torque converter not achieving full lock.

    A440f transmission rebuild or swap

This could be an error, but it does appear that new A440s are actually now available from Toyota, but I haven't actually pulled the trigger and tried ordering one myself. It is available for order on the ToyotaPartsDeal website which has always been a very good indicator for me to see if...

Is it Worth Saving/ Should I buy it?

I would say find another one simply because the rear section of the frame appears to be in seriously bad shape. Far too much work involved for this one to ever recoup what you would invest to make it right.

    FJ60 Enclosed Rear Quarter-panel Sub-woofer Build

Thanks for the reply. That makes total sense. Another question....If I'm understanding correctly, you inserted polyester fill in to the subwoofer enclosure? It's been a long time since I've built a subwoofer box, but does the fill not rob the sub of the air space it needs? Maybe I should...

    FJ60 Enclosed Rear Quarter-panel Sub-woofer Build

Very well done. You obviously have some prior experience working with wood, but your write-up lays out the steps well enough that if someone were inclined, they could pull this off. Question on the two-tone staining process...how did you ensure a crisp line between the two shades? Is it as...

1990 FJ62 only shifts into park and reverse

Based on what you describe, I'd definitely check the linkage.
