LX570 ventilated seats in Land Cruiser

The way it's setup it's way too small. I believe the cover is divided to direct air in different areas, but I think it's just one duct underneath there. To install I believe you would take off the cover and replace it with the unit. I could probably find a way to make it work/fit, but I think...

LX570 ventilated seats in Land Cruiser

I guess a simple look under the seats of my 2010 probably could have saved me the trouble, but definitely not close to the same size. Concept is interesting, and I'm sure someone could create this easily with a 3d printer in a size that would fit.

LX570 ventilated seats in Land Cruiser

This was the one I ordered, had similar pictures. Reviews are mixed, so not holding my breath, but Amazon Prime for returns if needed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNFSJ5MS

200 Series Brake Job - Part Numbers, Torque and How-To

Maybe that's what they did and bent the backing plate - I know there was a mod they made

200 Series Brake Job - Part Numbers, Torque and How-To

This is fantastic, and will definitely be taking a look for the next round. I ended up using my shop this last time and in hindsight I have a concern. I retro'd the 2016+ brakes to my 2010, but the last brake job was all OEM rotors and pads. When they were doing the job they said they had to...

    Denso Radiator

Great points - I think I'll just let it be.

    Denso Radiator

I had already replaced the radiator last year after the stock one failed, a bit gun shy trying to make sure that the replacement is equally good. I can tell that design wise the failure point matches the same as stock, e.g. the 'plate' is the same design as the older stock radiators.

    Denso Radiator

Appreciate it - it's turning into a mixed relationship with the shop. Nice guys, but looking over the work order and was charged more for the Denso part than MSRP on the Toyota. Edit: NM...I'm so used to bringing my own parts that didn't realize how common it was for shops to markup parts...

    Denso Radiator

So what's your take? Would you leave it be with the Denso radiator they already put in, or fight for the latest gen TRad that was in there before? If Denso is OE on the Tundra 5.7 would this theoretically be the same? Have the Tundra's had similar issues to your knowledge?

    Denso Radiator

So, after some frustrating roadside trouble where the fan clutch siezed and turned the fan into a projectile, which took out the radiator and battery, I'm working on getting back up and running. The shop I took it to, in spite of telling them repeatedly to put in the latest gen radiator...

RTH: High pitched and loud engine noise while accelerating

Well s***. Stopped at gas station to check codes, gave some throttle and entire radiator fan exploded and took out coolant reservoir.

RTH: High pitched and loud engine noise while accelerating

Just started road trip from CO to AZ and going through mountains. As we're accelerating uphill there seems to be a much louder and higher-pitched whine coming from engine area. There's no clunking or hard mechanical sounds and seems to be performing ok. Engine and oil temps are fine. PWR mode...

GROM VLine Owners (Please post only if you've owned this device)

I did the same and mostly the same experience. 12 is a more efficient OS and things feel snappier and AA loads faster. I am noticing some native android apps are loading in the wrong orientation (portrait vs landscape). I've heard others report that so assuming will get resolved quickly. A...

Help tracing wiring issue and Accessory Gateway Issue

So just closing the loop on this. It ended up being the DOME1 fuse. I'd previously checked it, and it looked fine, but decided to try and replace since it seemed the only common denominator and it worked. @grinchy you may want to check yours as well.... the step lights still aren't...
