Finally! Bottom is painted. Gonna seam seal a bunch, and probably spray some raptor liner or lizard skin on the bottom before declaring that part "finished".
That's two coats of Eastwood on top of metal prep from POR I had on hand.
So we just took all the glass out of our body. Glass guy said the windshield molding was cheaper than a windshield, so he cut that molding to get the glass out easy.
I see threads that say there are seals available that don't take a locking strip. Are there also seals that do?

It's quite an involved process, but possible. You can either separate all the layers at the spot welds, or find a good donor part. I did it both ways, but the good donor parts are pricey if you can find them.
But shaping the sheet metal for the fenderwell isn't easy.

But rust works silently in between the layers.
That area was the same on the other side. Although not quite as bad.
Some other areas in the rear fenders. In addition to some patches, I've been separating the layers best I can to clean out tge rust and debris, and also applying the rust converter.
on to the bodywork and dealing with the rust. Surprising how little there is, but I'll show what I've delt with, maybe it will help others.
Biggest trouble spots were the rear fenderwell/seat mounting areas. Right side was definitely trash, so I sourced a cutout from jonas at barnyard...
