Yea, ring and pinion decided i thrashed on the skinny pedal too much.
Not gonna fix it. Well, im gonna fix the truck, not this diff. I'm gonna use a fj80 diff. Not sure yet on the gears. And not entirely sure on the housing, but probably factory but that means relocating my gas tank due to the offset.

I would like to thank everyone from Rising Sun for putting on another Great event . Also a Big thank you to Stapp Toyota and Come Up winch for Sponsoring My Pritchett Canyon Run . I have really enjoyed the past few days . We have had some amazing days and the memories will last forever . We are already planning next year !!

Wheeling 95% of Pritchett backwards after losing power steering is a great shoulder workout btw, might add it to my workout routine.
But for real I’ve got respect for you early 40 series guys wheeling without power steering, my shoulders are definitely feeling it now.

That does seem like a valid complaint. Certainly more valid than my complaint that i wasn't considered for tge carnage award. LolSo, they gave The Iron Butt Award to a person who drove 2500km....
I only drove over 2300 miles...
I think there are a few people who drove even further than me...
Considering I believe i had the same failure.
But, its all good. I was unusually lucky at the raffle. Even so, i would have traded my prizes for the days i lost wheeling.
