Did you turn on the heater to help with the temp? I had to do that in my old pick up back in high school to get home one day.

Ok, asking for some ballpark number on 2: 3FE engines I might be selling early 2027. 3FE engine with rebuilt top end about 175,000 miles? Currently in my rig and runs great. 3FE engine with 235,000-mile, block at machine shop cylinders being reboard to .20 over, top end has not been touched...

Right now, I'm getting maybe 12mpg on the highway and maybe 10mpg the rest, LS swap would increase it to maybe 16 / 14 mpg? Like I have said it's a long-term goal / project set for 2027/ 2028

I removed both the cats off my FJ80 (91) had to keep the O2 sensors, maybe picked up some mpg? But I then added rock sliders and a wench, so it's a wash.
