Back at it with a different meter to measure mA. Is 29.3 reading normal using 600m setting on meter? I've removed every relay and fuse inside engine and inside cab... what's left?

I feel silly now. Makes sense if nothing is connected to positive battery terminal there wouldn't be a draw. I had one end of my meter clipped to ground cable disconnected from battery and the other probe touching the negative battery terminal. I have a cheap Uni-T UT202A meter from amazon...

Hatch glass weather strip rust peaking from beneath. Is it possible to remove the weatherstrip to get at rust?

Excellent feedback @2001LC. Will do a other round of degreasing and check torque on covers. I agree seems to be a leak on oil cooler.

I previously cleaned and degreased the engine to pinpoint the source of an oil leak. Just getting around to pinpoint and looks like I have a few leaks. Looks like a leak where the oil filter attaches Looks wet above the belt tensioner The pan looks like it may have a leaky seal I can see clear...

I do think front differential has a seal leak as looks wet and could be slinging oil around. The cv boots looked intact but I did notice a lot of oil/grease caked onto lower control arms.

Great points ty @2001LC Crazy HM oil causes these issues. I haven't started into dismantling yet... only took the undercarriage shields off to inspects and gets all parts rtg. Scraping off caked on grime and sprayed with degreaser. I know there a leak above timing belt hydraulic tensioner...

Following this one. I was under my 2001 today looking for leaks and need to replace a few seals.

The little bit of pag46 oil I added had some dye. I'm waiting on the uv light and glasses from amazon to peek around for any leaks at connection points. I'm thinking to pull the trigger on the compressor but it seems some of them aren't for front and rear ac. I'm planning to keep the rear intact.

Update... Jumped the magnetic clutch relay. Ac was blowing cold but noticed a smell of refrigerant and actually started to feel light headed after about 20 mins of driving with nice cool ac. A/c light was still blinking. Bought a leak detector from Amazon and it caught a leak in the a/c...

Sounds fun. I've got some wrenching to do but should be good by then.
