I’ve got a friend who picked up a TDI engine to swap into a VW Vanagon, it came with a Doomsday Diesel adapter kit to mate a VW TDI to a Toyota W56 transmission (anything 22R or 22RE). The kit is complete and unused apart from a couple of pieces of hardware and the starter spacer, which could probably be ordered from Doomsday. He’s asking $400 for the lot, a great deal for anyone interested in sticking a diesel in their 4-Runner or Pickup and getting 30+mpg.
