Selling my 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser in Salsa Red Pearl. I’ve owned it since October 2015 and built it as a long-term overland vehicle with Slee Offroad in Golden, Colorado handling the major installs and much of the ongoing service.

This is a professionally assembled 200 Series with quality components throughout, not a collection of random bolt-ons. Clean Colorado title in hand, no liens, no accidents.

Condition / known items

Interior and exterior are good for age and mileage.

Professionally detailed August 2026, including headlight restoration. There are trail scratches on the passenger D-pillar and driver C-pillar plus normal minor swirls / cosmetic wear. See photos.

No structural rust noted; only nominal / superficial age-related corrosion.

There is a minor steering-rack / power-steering seep noted by Slee and Toy Car Care. It does not currently require repair and is being monitored.

There is also an intermittent parasitic draw on the overhead dome-light circuit. The temporary workaround is pulling the engine-bay 7.5A fuse, so the overhead dome light is currently disabled. I am disclosing this rather than hiding it.

Included

Unless noted otherwise, installed equipment stays with the vehicle. Also included:

  • Winter wheel/tire set
  • Recovery kit
  • Original third-row seats / headrests
  • CTEK charger
  • Scepter fuel cans
  • Trailer wiring / brake-controller accessories
  • OEM tool kit
  • Service invoices / maintenance documentation
Not included: personal camping gear, RTT, fridge, hand tools, bike racks, shovel or shower bag/head.

Why I’m asking $46,000

This is a well-documented, professionally built 200 Series with a significant amount of expensive drivetrain, suspension, armor and recovery work already completed — including 4.88 gears, ARB rear locker, BP-51s, Slee bumpers/sliders, Warn winch, dual wheel/tire sets and recent major maintenance.

Local sale preferred, but I’m happy to work with an out-of-state buyer and coordinate shipping. Pre-purchase inspection is welcome.

Serious inquiries only. Full VIN and service documentation available to qualified buyers.

Latest questions

I'm seriously interested in your LC and have been going through your build and maintenance history. I have a handful of questions that I was hoping you could answer. Thanks, John

  1. What MPG are you actually getting around town and at 70–75 mph with the 4.88s and 285/70R18s, and what RPM does it run at 70 and 75?
  2. Has the speedometer/odometer been corrected for the tire size/gearing?
  3. If you built it again, would you still choose the 4.88 gears? How do you like them for highway and Colorado mountain driving?
  4. What spring rates are currently on the BP-51 setup, approximately how much lift does it have, and was it specifically sprung for the bumper/winch/rear-bumper weight?
  5. What type of off-road use has the truck primarily seen? Any significant underbody, frame, suspension or differential impacts not shown in the photos?
  6. Who installed the 4.88 gears and ARB locker, what brand gears were used, and have either required any work since installation?
  7. Regarding the steering-rack seep, has it ever required adding fluid, and what has Slee told you about it?
  8. Regarding the dome-light parasitic draw, has anyone diagnosed the source? With the fuse removed, does the truck hold battery charge normally?
  9. Has the transmission fluid been serviced, and if so, when and how?
  10. After the recent valley-plate/water-pump/radiator work, has there been any coolant loss or leakage?
  11. Any current mechanical issue, warning light, vibration, leak or noise that you'd address if you were keeping it another five years?
  12. Have you ever put the truck on a scale in its current configuration? I'd be particularly interested in total weight and front/rear axle weights.
  13. Do the 285s rub anywhere at full lock or articulation?
  14. Finally, after owning and building it for more than ten years, what are the things you like most about the truck, what would you change, and why are you selling it now?
