Selling the 4.0L 3FE engine and A440F automatic transmission from my 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser. The transfer case, t-case shifter, & wiring harness are not included. ECU can be included for $200 extra.
This combo worked well before it was pulled. TMU since the speedometer cable broke two years ago at 284K miles. Estimated mileage is around 292K miles.
The engine is in original condition and has not been rebuilt but starts, idles, and runs smoothly. It has a slow oil leak at the pushrod cover gasket that should be easy to replace while the engine is out.
Most of the engine accessories have been replaced within the last four years and 10K miles: water pump, thermostat, alternator, power steering pump, etc. The AC compressor is older but worked as well.
The transmission was rebuilt at some point during previous ownership but still goes into gear & shifts firmly.
Asking $1800 picked up.
