2000 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series. Spent the majority of its life between Colorado and the Midwest. Between receipts going back to its first service and a log book that has traveled with the truck since October 2007, I have what I believe to be a complete service history of this vehicle. You can find a spreadsheet which is a compilation of of the paper receipts and the log book here. High res photos are here. Overall it's in great shape and has been maintained thoroughly and regularly throughout its life.
Heater T's were replaced January 2024 at 216k, transmission was replaced January 2025 at 223k. Since I've had it, I replaced the shocks with OEM units as well as replaced pads and rotors (also OEM) and repacked the front bearings at 227k. It has started, run and operated without a hiccup over the past 15k miles. It tracks straight and stops dead straight with no pulsing in the pedal. The current Toyo Open Countrys were installed December 2024 at 222k. The ABS pump was within spec when I checked it before purchasing and doesn't make any noise.
Known issues include: some of the door lock actuators don't work intermittently; most commonly the one in the front driver's door. This is avoided by using the key to lock it rather than the fob. The rear passenger window stopped working last fall. Fortunately it did so in the fully closed position. There is some rust under the paint on the rear passenger arch and the paint is lifted off this area. I got a quote to have this repaired and it was more than I was willing to spend on what has ultimately been a work vehicle for traveling around NM. The CD player doesn't work (radio and antenna both do), but I installed a bluetooth box so have only used that for audio. The sunroof has been inoperable for a long time, so I put a healthy bead of Sikaflex 271 on the sunroof upon getting home from picking the truck up to zero out any chances of leakage. The front passenger seat split along one of the seams last winter.
I've had a great time owning this truck but want to scale down. I'd be happy to hop on a video call to take anyone through it or provide additional photos.
Mileage as of 7/17/26 is 241,441 but I still use it regularly.
Thanks!
