Oh ya...I'm there...(snort, caugh, smile) Hopefully this year I will actually get there.

Oh, here it goes, the beginning of a 20 page thread. Im in all the way, countdown is on!!!, 110 days till the official start of Cruise Moab on April 29th. Registration opens on January 15th. I thought you werent pickin trails this time around Kevin? Im down with whatever, I did Wipeout Hill and Golden Spike last year, so I will be pickin a few different ones, guided or not. So Brittan, we got 110 days to build a bumper, I got to scrape some $$$ together and get that bought and shipped.

You bitch about everything?;p

... I thought you werent pickin trails this time around Kevin? ...

Haven't decided. The headquarters has moved out of town, so will make spending time in camp less convenient. Have run most of the offered trails that I'm interested in, there are a bunch of trails that aren't offered that need exploring and who knows how much longer they will remain open? So the draw to just do some exploring is strong.

Last year only signed up for Spike, ended up also running Wipeout Hill. This year the registration cost is higher, is it worth it for one or two trails, or just wildcat all week?

Lorna & I are in. However I'm not too thrilled with the BFE headquarters being a long ways from town. To echo Kevin's sentiment; the trails that interest me I've run before. Perhaps some of us should go our own way, see new sights before they're gone forever. If some were to venture together as a group would permits be required?

I wouldn't mind putzing around in BFE on Green Day and Minor Threat, although I assume they will be crowded... I've done Strike Ravine and it's sorta boring - you're in a wash most of the times and never see anything (kinda like FJ), and there were a few hillclimbs. What about the overnite run to the San Rafael Swell?

Everyone I know that went on it last year had a blast...

I would also like to do the Hole in the Rock 4WD Trail sometime.

I'm definitely in for this year. Not sure on the number of days yet. I'm shooting for the whole week so I can be part of the caravan, but depends on who goes, days off from school for Tynan, etc..

Keep me posted on the schedule as I'll still probably sign up for a day or two with the CM runs.

my point in going to Cruise Moab -as opposed to Moab at another time- is to meet other cruiserheads  - so my preference is to run at least some organized runs

not sure about Spike again, Poison Spider is one of my favorites, I still need to do the big hill on Hells in the cruiser myself (note to self: only after birfs no longer weep onto brake rotors ), haven't done Metal Masher in a while, and maybe they will offer Rose Garden Hill or some other less well-known trails this year again

Thursday Golden Spike
...

 you looked like you were done with it after last year!:hillbilly:

I am in.. Since I haven't been there yet. I would like to run with some of the crowd too. I'm in for club runs too.
thanks
Don

Good deal, we will have 2 yellow FJCs again!

So I've been talking with my brother in TX about going to Cruise MOAB this year, and we decided to plan for it. Neither one of us have been before but I think we're pretty open to whatever.
