Hi guys,
I am building my rock sliders for my 97 landcruiser.

They are made of 3/16 inch thick square and rectangular tubing. the side round tube 1.5 inch diameter .120 wall Hrew.

What you guys think?

Do you think they need more gussets?

I am thinking of gusseting where the square tubing and the rectangular tubing meet especially on the driver side (the one without the cat guard) , since it is so long.:hhmm:

Very nice build. Sliders looking great.

thanks! put a lot of work in em.

more gusseting or prepare for powdercoating?

Those look pretty good dude!

Nice job!

thanks guys! do y'all think i need to add some gussets?

IMHO, no, but I'm just a pussy 100 guy... :D

may just add some gussets to the driver's side long piece.

Lenny, I wheeled some sliders made with box steel for a long time, they didn't flex much under my 62. The DOM tubes I have now flex a lot. I think you are fine. Paint and bolt.

They're plenty beefy. I wouldn't add any more gussets. Just paint 'em and bolt 'em on!

Nice work BTW. They are similar to what I build, and they have been standing up nicely.
