Where have all the Fenders gone??

Posted this in Body and Paint but recd no reply as of yet. Hope its ok to post it here. Both my 40 fenders are loaded up with cracked and fractured bondo from the po...thinking probably too far gone to repair? Been looking for fenders, but everywhere you can order them, the drivers side fender is on b.o....Whats up with that??
Been looking for a couple months now and haven't been able to turn up anything except used stuff on ebay that sellers won't ship, pick up in person only.
Has anyone here had any experience with LandCruiser Solutions Fiberglass Fenders? Seems like its all I can find in a drivers side fender. Pro's and Con's? Not interested in their extra wide fenders, just the standard. Thanks for any direction you all can give me..

I have fiberglass ones... got them used... you need to use your inner fender supports from your steel fenders.

I love them because mine is a DD and they will out last me... before these i replaced the fenders with taiwan fenders... for a DD they didnt last more than 10 years... far gone... see my build thread for pictures

if you live in an area thats not killing trucks with salt... taiwan fenders atre an option... or... are you saying that they are not available to?

Does anyone know if CCOT and Cruiser Corps are selling the same fenders? The Cruiser Corps fender are slightly less cost.

Can't you still get these from the dealer for a decent price?I bought both of mine from toyota and they weren't to expensive but that was in like 2008 so I might be out of the loop..

Fenders

SOR, CCOT and Cruiser Corps all said Drivers side fenders on back order, and have been for weeks, no idea when will be available. Pass. side fenders are plentiful.

77 FJ, My local toyota dealer said OEM fenders no longer available.

Kruisinkid, Is that link you posted recent? As I said, my dealer says not available. Think I will print that and take it in to him!

Johnny, where can I find Taiwan fenders? Who sells them?

SOR still lists the OEM fender as special order. i wonder if they still have one laying around for the low low price of $458!!

Doubt it they just order it from the dealer right after you hang up and they charge your card

There is a MUD member that has an entire body (fenders included) listed on Atlanta Craigslist. He may sell just the fenders and I would be happy to march down to Greyhound for you. It is the most reasonable way to ship fenders.

Option no.4 I did a similar search and CCOT was my next option but I decided to do a last ditch option of repair so I tack welded a backer piece is sheet metal in what used to be the fender brace interface and the replaces all the old bondo with long strand fiberglass bondo sold everywhere, that stuff gets super hard, had to use a grinder for final shaping. That was 3 yrs ago and not one crack. That is the $15 option

i emailed him the moment you posted that idea chris but i havent heard from him. what does he want for them? are they more or less pristine for used fenders?

Cruiserparts.net has the right front OEM available. I got both my OEM fenders from them, but it was a year ago.
