Oh, well I thought it was way over crowded compared to the first weekend. I would prefer a non holiday weekend but I will still be there.

I thought it was a lot more crowded that weekend. I'd vote to go back to the first weekend if it came up for a vote.

No matter what... you cant make everyone happy.
I also would like less traffic at the beach, It's a lot safer.
I vote for the 1st weekend myself, but will be blessed to go either weekend.
It's my families favorite trip of the year.

I understand the "less crowded weekend is better" mindset and would agree for the most part but moving it to the Vet's Day weekend will allow more families to attend. Keep in mind if we don't get our kids involved in our beloved pastime, it will go away in a few generations.
No one wants that. If you want to tear it up and go crazy, come out on Thursday like us locals and throw back some cold ones with us before everyone arrives.
