OK, so here's my update

Now I have to remove it, finish welding it, then start on the front halo and uprights, door bars etc.
 
That will work fine, even with a bushing setup, you are stiill going to "reduce" flex.

Also, lets face it, the factory FJ40 body mounts do jack s*** for "isolating and allowing flex". They are basically a 1/4 inch piece of rubber.
 
Yup.
As for the body flex and all that..... 2 of the 6 portions of floor where the cage muonts AREN'T rotten.
It's been a hell of a long time,. I want this thing done.
 
2 inch .120 wall DOM.
Should work.
( I don't have a 1.75 bender die yet)
 
Sorry for being so late on the subject but here are some pics of a friends 40 I built & at the bottom of the page it has the tie-ins with bushings at the chassis points. Previous pages should have the cage build-up pics I think if you want to look for incab ties. Has pics of cage out of body complete sitting on the ground.
