Hey guys,

We traded our 2500 Chevy for a Tundra and are looking for suitable poly plows. This will only be for 2-3 driveways.

Do any of you Mudders have experience with plowing with your Tundras?

Thanks in advance, Kristy

The Tundra can handle a decent sized plow... (Remember, the front end is a Land Cruiser 200) But finding one may take a little leg work. Snoway once offered their 29 Series for it, but that seems to have changed. I ran a 29 Series on my 2008 Tundra for a few seasons with no issues, it then moved over to my brother in laws 2007 Tundra where it has done much more work, again no breakage issues with the truck. The coolant can get a little hot while traveling up hill at 20+ mph with the plow raised, but that's not terribibly uncommon. It's tough on the tranny fluid, so I like drop the 3 - 4 quarts from the pan after the season is over.

If you are fine with a smaller plow, I still like Snoway, the down pressure option helps the performance quite a bit.
