Does anyone have a OBD2 scanner that I can borrow. need to check out a check engine light

AutoZone and O'Rielly's will do it for free....

I thought they would still loan or rent a scan tool. They ran into legal issues with scanning vehicles, basically helping them sell more parts based on incomplete diagnoses.

the guy said that no one in cali woild scan but a repair shop. sounds like another great cali law

FWIW, I bought the one I have from Autozone for about 40 bux. Definitely worth it IMO.
