Hello all. Up for sale is my '86 Land Cruiser with 43k original miles. This truck is a JDM model and was imported to the States a couple years ago. Supposedly it belonged to one of Toyota's lead engineers in Japan and was purchased from his estate sale. A "major" service, which included timing belt change, was completed @ 34k miles. The previous owner purchased the truck from an importer in Georgia and then brought it to Arizona. He had the AC and cooling system overhauled with Toyota parts during his ownership. I will service the truck using Toyota oil/fuel filters before it is sold.
The truck is almost completely original, with the exception of a Bosch horn and aftermarket turbo timer. I'm not sure if the fog lights and rear ladder are factory equipment. The engine and turbo feel strong. Shifts through the 5 speed transmission are smooth. All mechanical and electrical components are in good working order.
The exterior is not free of imperfections. There are some shallow dings/scrapes and a small bit of rust at the bottom of the left rear wheel arch. I recently finished paint correction and a fresh layer of wax. The truck looks awesome considering it's a 31-year-old 4X4. On the inside, there are a couple of cigarette burns on the carpet and passenger seat.
All in all, it's a pretty sharp little rig. Clear AZ title and current registration. Please let me know if there's anything else that you'd like photographed.
