Looking for a 40 for My Father (1 Viewer)

Hey Gotham Guys,

I am helping my father find a 40. He doesn't want to pay the money a shiny truck would bring, but he doesn't want a basketcase either. He found this on Craigslist and I was hoping someone on the forum might be familiar with it:

1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

Does anyone know anything about this truck?

Thanks, but it is more of a project than he is looking for. He is 89 and just looking to find a truck he can jump in and drive.

89?! That's impressive.
Hope he finds a nice rig. There are a couple on ebay for under 10k right now in decent shape, and plenty of shiny ones around for 20k+.

He does get along for his age, no doubt. Hi is looking for something in the $10-$15k range. Hopefully a cared for driver.
