Here's some updates:

Picked up a set of 4 2020 Tundra wheels for cheap on CL and didn't have much luck finding a fifth for a spare so had to spend hefty for a new one online. Had them all powder coated with Prismatic Powders "Bronze Chrome". Moved down in size considerably from my 315-75-16 Duratracs to 275-70-18 KO2s. Hoping for better gas mileage and no rubbing. I have the center caps which are black and haven't decided if I'm going to try to match the color or just leave them off.

Got the ARB Solis lights installed with their staggered kit of one spot and one flood light. Very impressed with the lights. They are a big improvement over my old HID Vision-X kit that took some time to warm up and had major battery draw.

Rooftop tent is now off and awaiting arrival of a new Roofnest Condor XL tent.

Trying to talk myself out of a set of Scheel-Mann seats.

Truck is now in a second shop getting about $7k worth of maintenance done on it. Turns out the first guys didn't know what they were doing and really messed the truck up. Should be out in about a week and I'll post some more updates.

Sucks to hear on the maintenance mess-up. Local shop to you?
Yeah it was a small shop that had done some work on another vehicle of mine that turned out fine. Should have went to the pros the first time. Lesson learned. It's now at Japanese Auto Service in Wheat Ridge. They have one of the long time mechanics from SLEE working there and I'm hopeful of the outcome.

Very nice! Looks like it comes with a few things already done.

Your other 100 is looking like a pretty big investment based on what is shiny there and what is still yet to be installed.

Indeed, but it’s hard to put a price on safety. We’ll be taking the truck on a North/South America tour starting this summer through a good portion of 2022.

This latest maintenance is close to $10k and covers most major parts on the vehicle. I’ll be updating this post with everything done and pricing for future reference for myself and others looking to get work done.

Maintenance done! Around $10k but worth the investment for long term reliability and safety. A lot of this stuff was preventative. I'm posting the itemized details below for my records and in the hope that it might help others know what parts, part numbers, and service might cost for similar work.

Other maintenance that's been done recently: Complete intake manifold, denso iridium plugs, DC Power 180amp alternator, replaced all light bulbs for new

As it sits now the truck is driving like NEW. Three techs at Japanese Auto Service in Wheat Ridge CO have driven the truck since maintenance was done and they all say it's the best driving 100 series they've been in. That says a lot for the quality of the vehicle and aftermarket parts that have been installed. Overall I've never been more confident in the truck.

Figured a way to mount two magsafe iphone chargers. Yay no wires!

Parts used:

RAM Round Plate with Ball (1)
RAM Double Ball Adapter (1)
RAM Double Socket Arm 7" (1)
RAM Double Socket Arm 3" (3)
iBOLT Three Ball Joint Extension Adapter (1)
ARKON Magnetic Base with 1 inch Ball (2) This did not work. Went with an Etsy 3D printed product instead.
Apple Magsafe Charger (2)

Got the Roofnest Condor XL mounted yesterday just before the snow came in! First impressions of the tent are good overall. Not super pumped on the mattress, but this isn't a surprise. We'll be putting a topper on it and I hope the case will close with it in. I'll post an update after I source the foam.

Also, you can almost see my telescopic poles for our DIY changing room/restroom. Still need to source some fabric and sew the panels that will slide on. These extend about 8 feet past the vehicle when fully extended and will come in handy for hanging things on even when not using the changing room. I'll detail this more in a future post when I have more completed.

On order:

Camp kitchen rear bumper from @benc of Dissent
Dobinson rear drawers to replace my current setup with adventure trailers drawer and front runner fridge slide.
Long Range America 40 Gal. aux fuel tank
Hurucan tailgate storage mod
Raingler mil-spec cargo netting for full ceiling
Victory Center Console MOLLE Panel

In hand and waiting for install:
New exterior vinyl
Kenwood Excelon DDX9907XR Stereo (Wireless Carplay for my new wireless setup) I hate wires!
Clearview drop-down fridge slide

Nice! Let's see some interior shots.

Is your truck sahara gold or silver? Some pics look silver, some gold. Trying to decide on black or bronze wheels on my (gold) truck.

Radiator - $547 - is that an OE replacement? Replaced mine last year with a Denso ($150 from rockauto) sadly it is stamped “made in china”
Should last, but will go with aluminum tank radiator if this starts to crack. 3rd radiator in 300k miles. My 200k truck is on #2.

Sounds like an awesome trip - do you have a blog or something to follow? How are you getting around the Darian Gap?

Kevin.

I knew I was saving money doing my own maintenance, but didn't know just HOW much until I saw this thread. I envy you guys that can just go to a trusted shop and say "fix it"

Truck looks great
