E-Bay is your friend...

Just look for similar FJ's and copy the listing numbers and the final sales values once auctions are completed. The listing numbers can be used as proof of what the other vehicles sold for. Also print or save each auction as after 90 days E-bay deletes the auctions.

Use MUD sales forums for similar vehicular values.

Get a dozen or so and then hit the company with the real World values vs Kelly Blue Balls values.

ALSO, you have the right to request that they REPLACE the vehicle, rather than total the vehicle with a cash pay out.

I suggest using a lawyer.

P.S. - PRESS CHARGES!!! No friend would do such a thing as steal a car when drunk, and YOU would have been potentially liable for any deaths that idiot caused. For the betterment of the driving community you need to press charges. ALSO you should press charges as a first step in recovering damages, because a court decision against that moron will weigh heavily in Civil Court.
