Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with my dash on the passenger side on those perforations where one would think there’s a speaker? I’m attempting to repair my dash and have come up with basically 2 options.
1: epoxy a thin metal base to the bottom side of the dash and then fill in all of the perforations.
2: actually mount a speaker there and place some type of speaker grill or cover where the perforations used to be. Any ideas? I’m not even sure if there’s room or it would be feasible.

Thanks for the reply! I have one of them, which is why actually repairing my dash has taken me so long. I'm ready for an actual repair instead of coverup.
In that case I'd lean towards your option 2, as I'd imagine trying to replicate the factory perforations isn't worth the time. Since you're already deep in to epoxy/sanding territory, you could maybe cut the perforated section from the dash cover and splice it in to your original?

Look in the 60 section for Warhorse build by me. Dash repair in there.
