Midway through my desmog/EFI-AFI work on my '87 FJ60.
Firstly, gas cap. I had read about folks having to drill a hole in their gas caps. True? I have to get a new one, so what to get?
Next, fuel lines: I got a 38 gallon tank from Man-A-Fre with an in-tank fuel pump. They say it will pump enough fuel to the EFI. Do I need a larger diameter supply line than the stock one? I snaked some SS wire rope through both supply and return lines. Then splayed the far end little wires out and drew the spinning wire back through the lines, Roto-Rooter style.
Nothing came out but a little color, when flushing with B-12.
I don't want to run a larger line unless it's necessary.
What do you folks think?
