I'm restoring my 1975 fj40 so I can have a vehicle to tow my duck boat. I anticipate that the rear axle may on occasion be sunk all the way in water at some of the primitive ramps I use. Is there anything I need to do to vent anything or move any vents so the rear axle won't get flooded?

Extended rear diff breather tube. And if your axle is like mine, there won't be one at all. Also-You will have no rear brakes for awhile after you submerge those great drums we all love. :D
