Hi all,

72 with a sbc with fuel injection currently running on the under seat tank with return line to this tank, there is a second tank already hooked up when it was carb'd , but doesnt have a return line.

What would be the best solution Im sure Im not the first to run across this but I missed it in the search, if this was already discussed I apologize.

Thanks

Fuel injection usually needs a place to return the fuel. It is also very finicky when it comes to air in the lines. If you really need the extra tank I would use a 6-port value and do everything you can to ensure the fuel lines stay 'wet'

I agree with Reddingcruiser about using the 6 port elec. switching valve, but I really don't think you are going to have fuel line drying problems. Only fuel line problem I ever had was in Redding, Cali, frickin 220 degrees all summer !!!!!

Yeah, but it's a dry heat!

Fuel draining/evaporating from the auxiliary tank lines because of infrequent use was the reason I pulled mine. It also gave me room to move the rear axle back. ;)
