I am leaving Atlanta on my way to Yellowstone on Labor Day morning. I need to be in Denver by noon on Wednesday to pick up my wife and kids. I will be in the 80 and would love to camp with any of you who want to get out. I don't know anything about the area. I will be heading through via I-24. My goal is to make it to the Shawnee National Forest for the first night. Can anyone recommend a good spot to set up camp and sleep on my roof? Better yet, anyone want to join me for dinner or camping? I know it is a Monday night, but I would love to meet some more cruiser folk if possible.

All the best,

Scott

Ferne Clyffe state park is a great spot. No off-roading but beautiful hiking trails. It's not far off I24

Thank you for the insight. I hope to be on the road tomorrow by noon. I will look forward to checking it out if I can get up that far before it is too late.

Best,

Smitty
