Back with yet another question. Thank you everyone who has helped me out over the past few days! I'm kind of confused as to how to remove the knuckle arm on the drivers side on my 84 solid axle. It connects to the drag link but I cannot find a nut. Attached are pics of the top: and bottom: [

The manual looks like it says there is a castle nut and cotter pin, but I can't find that on the truck. It seems like there is a rubber boot thing that wraps around the drag link. Do I just pop it off with the tie rod end style jaw remover tool? Thanks!

Looking closer at the manual I think actually the nut and pin are for the tie rod part of the knuckle arm.
 
it's a ball socket, not a taper. it needs to be disassembled.
So I removed the cotter pin the threaded end peice it was in, but it looks like there's still stuff in the drag link that I don't get how to remove. EDIT: Nevermind, just had to bang on it with a hammer lol
