Did all 2f engines come with domed pistons? If not, when we’re they used?

All i know about domed pistons is they were not available about 10 years ago when i was trying to do a rebuild.
I see mosely has apparently found a source for their engines but no idea if available to anyone else.
Kind of a raw topic for me. I took running engine, 4 spd and tc to a landcruiser expert shop that charged a bunch to turn it all into basket cases of parts and say sorry, that will be $300. Piston were the key issue.

They are definitely a struggle - I managed to snag a set of .030's two years ago when I did my rebuild, but they were all out-of-stock again pretty much everywhere shortly after I grabbed a set. Looks like still showing out of stock in all sizes.
I recall it just being a head swap to the closed chamber head to run the more readily available flat-tops due to the chamber differences, but no clue on the cost to track down the newer head.

Rock auto does get them in stock just have to keep looking. Bought a set of .030 last year.Stock goes fast once they get them.
