Does anyone know if a 1986 Corvette distributor will work on a earlier 350 SBC?

It depends if you're using the TPI injection... 86 Corvettes had TPI, thus the distributor is computer controller. It will fit in any gen 1 SBC (1955-2002) but work... well, if you just need it to turn the oil pump, yes, if you need spark, not without the computer.
