Gary T, Glenn B, and Bill W went on a trip to the Cariboo including Two Sisters Peak, Yank's Peak, Bowron Lakes, Barkerville, Wells, Quesnel Forks ghost town, and other areas. These first pics are Two Sisters Peak and views toward the Bowron Lakes system below. Elevation 2100 m.

We were just there, guess I know where Glenn got the idea for that ;)
Well, Mat, Glenn actually got the idea from Dave Allen when he was with him in the Mackenzie ll run in 2013, but we're glad that you enjoyed it as well.

We were pretty lucky with campsites, usually right beside lakes, rivers, or streams:
Quesnel Forks, Ladies Creek, Ghost Lake, Whiskey Creek, Anton Lake, and Farwell Canyon.

On the way home I stopped at the funky little village of Spences Bridge.
A dude named Geoff runs the pretty cool Vulture Garage with his
assortment of gems. Here is a 1940 Pontiac Arrow with an immaculate
interior. Also for you "other guys", he holds a Willys Jeep and Dodge Ram...

That's about it for this trip, ending with a couple more pics of Spences
Bridge; you know the place where you never bothered to s top because
you were in a hurry to get to that

From Dave Allen (Prince George wheeler) when he was with us on the second Mackenzie run in 2013.

Hehe, you guys pretty much hit up a bunch of the same spots only one week later. Barkerville for us was a bit wet, you definitely had better weather for that one. Wan't very impressed with Ghost lake, crappy access and not much for camping. We ended up going down on the main FSR just south west of there (beside the abandoned hunting lodges) and camped down by the creek after a little river crossing. The falls are cool though.
I see Bill got a new fish eye lens
