Thank you all for making this year's annual Ouray trip a great one. We had lots of rain but that didn't dampen our spirits a whole bunch. We ran Black Bear pass until the "commitment point - one way traffic" but it was simply too wet and the rain was getting heavy. Really, you can probably run any of the trails in the rain and be ok. The surface is rocky so the rain doesn't make anything difficult from what I can tell.

This year we had a JK, CJ5 and an Excursion joining us for the first time. As usual, the campfire was roaring each night and many lies were swapped . It's great watching each others' kids get a little taller and a little older.

This is the view most people had who were behind us!!!

More pics. Hickory's CJ5 was having starting issues, along with the carb too rich so we had to setup a triage unit with Larry's Foxwing awning. Unfortunately, this was the demise of the Foxwing as the wind grabbed it before we were able to stabilize it.

We didn't go down the switchback to Telluride due to the rain and slippery conditions.

Some pics from Engineer pass. Jessica's lowrider suffered a few bumps and bruises. Her side steps were sporting the frown so John turned into a less frown but NOT a smile!!!!

Jessica tells me that she "needs" a 2" lift on the way home!!

That's how the trouble starts! Might as well throw on some sliders while you're in there!

Great pics, everybody - thanks for sharing!

Glad I made it in to camp on Thursday. Had a good time chatting it up.

My crew ran Black Bear, Imogene, and Poughkeepsie on Friday in the rain. the Wall was terrible with flowing mud and water, winched it to the crowds amazement. Back in Silverton by 2:30.

Dude, you run a tight ship!!! Great seeing your family and need to get together soon and swap some lies.

Pretty easy to do really, don't stroll around Telluride and Ouray and haul the mail in the dirt and rocks. 16 psi is the key, that and hammer down on the skinny pedal. The rain helped to clear the roads.

Nice shots Justin, thanks for sharing.

And I guess HDC is no longer an LC group.

:flipoff2:

Still a LC group, just not enough LC guys that actually go wheeling. We have to look elsewhere if we want to go wheeling
