Don’t forget the amazing single can holder found in Aussie (and other) 7’s. It’s pretty sad compared to the 37 cup holders found in the 200. Hell, the 250 has cup holders for the 3rd row that doesn’t exist. Are they trying to tell us something?

What the 70 series lacks in cup holders, they make up for that with ash trays.

Hello,

The ash tray in the dash may be gone.

However, the ash trays in the rear panels, on both sides of the rear seat, are likely to remain there.

The same thing should apply to the rear doors in 76 Series.

The design has not changed much over the years in that part of the trucks.

This would make as many ash trays as differential lockers.

I remember reading that JDM 70 Series owners tend to be smokers. That would -at least in part- explain why the trays remain.

Perhaps Toyota is trying to tell us that the ride quality of the 70 Series, when compared to the 200 / 250 Series, doesn’t lend itself to drinking beverages, especially hot ones.
