The 3FE is factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 ft lbs of torque, the 2F is rated at 135 horsepower and 200 ft lbs of torque. I understand that the 2FE bumps compression, but how much more power/ torque would it make over a 3FE?

Not enough to make much difference in a fj60. The fj60 needs a bigger engine. A 2fe is a 2f with higher compression and efi. That's all it is. You can get the same thing by shaving the head on a 2f and adding a sniper kit. Drop in a LS motor instead or a diesel. That's what my research has concluded anyhow. Some claim to be able to get 200hp out of a wound up 2f conglomerate. That might be ok in a fj40 I guess but not a fj60.

I’d be curious to know too. I’d hope it would be the same if not more than the 3FE but I’m probably dreaming.
