Nice rig. Perfect color, too. ;)

Nice looking rig! I have a very similar set up, except I hvae RUFs and on 4.88's.

Im on the Westside..Peoria..hit me up if you want to hit some trails

Pics from the break-in run last weekend at AZ Rocks. The truck was super impressive and climbed like a champ over everything we tried. The crawler box is a great feature. We never spun a tire. I am very very pleased.

Do you have a hard top for it too?

D

I don't mean to bump such an old thread, But how did you get rid of the blocks? I'm having the same issues. We basically have the same setup rear. ( inward shocks, 63s, 4" blocks ) and Im trying to remove the blocks completely. I'm on 37s now, but could easily run 39s, 40s on this rig. But I'd like to lower it overall on 35s. But if I get rid of the blocks, they'll hit my E-brake cables. My truck also has a dual shackle in the rear. Which I want to remove

So what'd you do?

Here's a picture of my truck:

Was thinking of mounting the currently shackle on the red square and removing the 1st shackle.

Seems like if you remove the blocks and that other spacer that I see, the e-brake cable should fit over the spring, like it's supposed to.

The blocks are 4". the other little spacer you see is a cut overload spring. so its 4.5" in "block lift" technically. But removing the block completely, how would I go about matching the front height? right now its raked in the rear slightly.

Would I be able to simply pull a leaf from the TG leaf pack, and have it be fine?

Here's a picture of the whole truck:

and Here's a picture of the front. Just your typical trail gear front setup:

Holy crap that thing is tall.

Move to New England, it will be illegal. Problem solved.

its done some settling, for sure. Here it is next to me ( 6' tall ) when the suspension was new.

Im at 29" of frame clearance. Which, yeah that's tall. I'd like to be around 23-26" hence, the lowering.

Any solutions? or should I just drop the block, move the rear shackle to where I indicated, and pull a leaf from the front and see where im at?

Well, that's almost a free solution. Maybe start by pulling the blocks and the leaf, see how it looks. No cost, a few hours of work, then you can decide.

Guess ill start there then. Thanks.

Hey gents, I’m curious how the original poster and Mak92 both dealt with the rear. I have a newly swapped trail gear SAS 4” springs and 63s with a 2” block. The truck isn’t level so I’m considering options. The most likely option is a ProComp 3 or 5” Chevy 63 lift spring (part #13711 or 13211).

Here’s some pics

Your truck looks a little tall up front, id wait for it to settle a bit. Your rear height looks about right.

I am personally NOT a fan of the 63s. I run MC (betts) 56" rears. RUF. 1st pic is unloaded. 2nd is loaded with weekend camp stuff. I currently have the lowest leaf out, but i am reinstalling soon.
