I have searched all over the interwebs for this but am struggling to put it together and find the part numbers I need.
So I have an Australian 1995 1FZJ80 GXL with a Japanese compliance plate that came with a factory sub-tank, somewhere in its life like a lot of them it was converted to gas. Since I have owned the car (10+ years) the gas system never worked so we ripped it out. I have been piecing together the parts to put a sub tank back in and get it running again. I bought a tank from a wrecker and have only his word that it came out of a petrol and I am not sure what model it was pulled out of. When cutting the gas out we put all the wiring back to factory spec, all the lights are working and you can hear the transfer pump start up so I think we are good there.
Like all wreckers they cut off the hoses so I need to buy new ones but I noticed that the tank has different plugs from what is on my chassis, so my questions are:
1. Is there another piece of harness that I need to buy / make to adapt the 2 plugs on the tank to the 1 plug on my car? and
2. The pickup has 2 fuel lines coming out of it, I can only assume one is for a return line which I believe the petrol's don't have? so do I just blank this line off?
Appreciate any help I can get on this.
