Reluctantly coming to the conclusion that I can't justify two cruisers and planning to build a 100 series for family hauling so time to sell the 80. Here are the details. Check out my build thread in signature for more details.

1993 FZJ80 with 169k miles on the clock
  • Second owner (bought in 2013 w/158k)
  • Original owner maintainted at local Portland, OR dealer
  • Swapped to 4bd1t Isuzu 4cyl diesel at 163k (engine came from an NPR with 161k miles)
  • TD04HL-19T Turbo
  • Large Isuzu intercooler
  • A440 Full Hydraulic Trans
  • All gauges work
  • Cruise works
  • 3x locked with center diff lock switch and pin 7 mod
  • 2.5" OME lift
  • Custom high approach angle front bumper
  • 9.5k winch
  • 285/75 R16
  • Scion bluetooth radio with hands free installed
  • Registered in Washington as a diesel
There are a few negatives on the truck that should be noted:
  • No AC. I kept all the parts to add it but never got around to making the compressor bracket. The condensor is in the stock location and I have all the original hoses
  • One sunroof cable is broken. The roof still moves back and forth, but I have never used it since the cable is broken. I did pick up a new sunroof from a parts cruiser, but never installed.
  • Leaks a few drops of oil from the oil filter relocation block.
  • Clear coat on roof is failing.
Overall this is a pretty stinking nice cruiser with a nicely done custom swap. I've driven it a little over 6k miles since the swap. Power wise I'd say its very similar to the stock 4.5L. It feels snappier around town, but has a little less power when towing on the freeway. Just this last weekend I towed a 12' enclosed trailer to Seattle and back (400 miles) at 70 with no issues. This diesel can be tuned for more power pretty easily (just turn out the fuel screw) but I've been happy with how it is and haven't messed with it too much besided putting on the larger turbo.

I also built a matching off road camp trailer last summer for the truck. I'd keep it, but it matches the truck (color, wheels, etc) so it seems right to sell it with it. It has two fold out queen beds and is on a 3500# axle (though I only put 2,000# springs in it I believe.

Price is $22,500 for the package.

I haven't checked it in a while, but best I've gotten was around 21 highway (at 65-75) and I think I got around 16 last weekend towing a decent sized enclosed trailer on the freeway. I think with my camp trailer behind it I was getting 16-18.

Nice 80. Cloth interior looks great.
